Talimena Scenic Drive

Thursday after work I drove down to Rockport and paddled around on the Ouachita River for a while. The afternoon was quite hot so the 65 degree water felt mighty fine. After that I headed westward. My plan for this trip was to drive west and just go wherever my mind wandered and to camp if needed...or not. Turns out I never came across the proper combination of amenities for camping. I drove into Oklahoma via Talimena Drive and watched the sun set. Then here and there before returning home. The photos below best describe my path.
