Richland Creek Wilderness Area
6/26/2010
The campground at Richland Creek was quiet at 5:30 a.m as I waded upstream. Sometimes during the warm months the easiest path is just to get your boots wet. The day was mostly sunny and around 80 degrees. The falls of Richland were passed and I hiked a mile or so above that point. On the way back a stop was made at Twin Falls to witness a minimal flow across the rock. By 2:15 it was 97 degrees and I was back to my origin. Many rednecks were gathered about the campground. I tossed 'em a dead skunk and they were appeased. There was a small shower along the way. I was refreshed by it. Total miles were about 8.
